Announcing Winners for India Innovation Challenge Design Contest 2017 27 Aug 2018 The recently concluded DST -Texas Instruments India Innovation Challenge Design Contest 2017 (IICDC) can easily be marked as the “Contest of many firsts” which truly is significant achievement for a contest in nearly a decade of history of its beginning. The main reason for announcing the winner is obvious, but there are a few other benefits to announcing your winner. If you ran a contest on your Facebook page, entrants will be checking your Facebook page more often than their email to see if they won. That is why a well-curated Facebook post announcing the conclusion of the contest is important.

The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering is pleased to announce the winners of the 1st annual Creative Design Contest for the 2020 TAME State STEM Competition, presented by ConocoPhillips on April 25th in the Houston area. This event combines our 16th annual T-Shirt Design Contest and our 2nd annual Hashtag Contest, inviting TAME students across Texas to submit original artwork & hashtag concepts on the theme: “Energy.Power.Progress.”

Congratulations to our Artwork Prize Winner, Eunsuh “Jasmine” Cho of McNeil High School in the Capital Area Chapter and our Hashtag Prize Winner, Eduardo Cisneros of Lewisville High School in the Dallas Chapter! The two winning students will receive a special invitation to the State STEM Competition. At State Ms. Cho and Mr. Cisneros will be awarded their $100 prizes onstage. Mr. Cisneros’ hashtag #WattsUpSTEM will be used on social media before the event; Ms. Cho’s artwork will be unveiled on the day of the event. Both creative concepts will be featured at the State STEM Competition on the shirts and giveaways that will be distributed to hundreds of participants.

The annual TAME State STEM Competition brings together hundreds of high-performing students, grades 6-12, to challenge their STEM skills and connect with a network of peers and mentors across Texas and beyond.

Students qualify for invitations to this event by being active members of a registered TAME Club, and by competing in Divisional STEM Competitions across Texas in the spring semester each year.

We had so many great entries in our Fashion Week 2020 Design Contest! It was a tough decision but we narrowed it down to ten talented winners who will have their designs made into virtual clothing pieces in Webkinz that will be released as part of a future Fashion Week event! Each of the winners will also receive a Clothing Design Trophy, a Fashion Show Station, a 2020 Superb Silver Stocking Gift courtesy of Ganz eStore!
